Frequently Asked Questions

  1. Are you able to give my dog medication?
    Yes.
All of our employees have been trained in the proper way to administer medication. Please make sure that the dosage is clearly written down. We do not charge extra for this service.
  2. Will you give my dog his raw food diet?
    Yes.
We request that you bring your dogs regular food. We have a refrigerator/freezer to accommodate frozen, raw or specially cooked meals. You just need to provide us with all necessary food.
  3. What vaccinations does my dog need to board with you?
We need to have a current vaccination record from your vet with the due dates for Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella. We also require a topical flea treatment be applied before they come in.
  4. What do I need to bring for my dog when boarding?
Bring their regular food, treats, toys, a blanket or bed, something from home with a familiar smell, like an old shirt you have worn or an old blanket they have laid on.
  5. Is your kennel climate controlled?
    Yes.
The boarding area is air conditioned and dehumidified. In the winter it is heated by radiant heat in the floor.
  6. Is your kennel bleach free?
    Yes.
We only use cleaners that are pet-safe. Bleach is too harsh and could irritate their feet and respiratory system.
  7. How many times do you let the dogs out?
We let the dogs out three times a day. The final let out of the day is after 7:00 p.m.
  8. Can I come to see the kennel before I bring my dog?
    Yes.
We schedule all tours in the morning, Monday through Saturday, around 10:00 a.m. This works out best for the dogs schedule.
  9. What times can I drop off or pick up my dog? During our regular hours of operation. Monday though Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Sunday from 3:00 p.m. through 6:00 p.m.
  10. Should I bring my dogs food bowls?
    No.
We provide bowls that are on a daily cleaning maintenance schedule. If you bring your own stainless steel bowls, we can not keep track of 50 different bowls, and glass or ceramic bowls can break.
  11. Does my dog have an indoor/outdoor run?
    No.
All of our runs are indoor only. We have set it up this way to maintain personal contact with each dog every day. It also allows for better climate control.
  12. Can I bring treats and toys for my dog?
    Absolutely.
We encourage you to bring any kind of treat that you dog is used to having. Toys and rawhides are great for dogs who like to have something to chew on.
  13. Can I bring my dog's crate?
    Yes.
Our runs are big enough to bring a crate if your dog is used to having one. We will take the door off or leave it open so they can have access to it at any time.
  14. Can dogs from the same family stay together or be next to each other?
    Yes.
We allow dogs from the same household to be in the same run together as long as they get along at all times. If we have to separate them, you will be charged for two separate runs. If they are in separate runs, they can be right next to each other and be let out at the same time.
  15. Can I keep 3 dogs in one run?
    No.
Our runs are large and have plenty of room for the dogs to move around in. However, they were not meant to be occupied by more than two medium dogs.
